Hidden treasures 1997

Unveiled in 1997, Hidden Treasure immersed the audience in a submerged, sublime world inspired by Jacques Cousteau. Dresses were sculpted from layered tulle, nylon, and chiffon that moved like underwater forms, catching light as if beneath the sea. Sequins were restrained, silhouettes whispered rather than declared, and details from near-invisible straps to the fluid staging reflected a deep commitment to craft and atmosphere. Rather than chasing spectacle, the collection asserted that fashion’s power lies in conviction and imagination, a vision so fully realized it was recognized by The New York Times as a pinnacle of New York Fashion Week.
